Werner Schüßler has been back to the studio twice, once with Four Reasons, who mix a’capella renaissance song with pan-European folk music. Currently we are working together on vocal and grand piano recordings for a teaching book/CD for singing technique.
Award-winning Irish singer-songwriter Saoirse Mhór asked me to co-produce some tracks for his latest solo CD, which mostly involved me adding folk/country-infused fiddle but also some guitar, bass guitar, a violin/viola string trio and some backing vocals. The CD will be called Ghosts of Tomorrow. Check out Saoirse’s website here http://www.saoirsemhor.com
Bonn’s own Reel Bach Consort booked me for a location recording of their 2nd album. This involved live studio sessions with nine musicians, playing instruments such as uilleann pipes, harpsichord and double bass. More tracking is to take place im the studio later this month.

Mannheim folk band Bottled Spirits have been in a couple of times to work on their next CD. They are a well-rehearsed seven-piece with percussion, fiddles, banjo, accordion, recorder and vocals. The album is going down as live takes with the band arranged in a circle in the studio and captured with a stereo pair of the amazingly accurate AKG 480b and spot-mics on each performer.
